Leah wrote a little story during church this morning. Just writing it down for posterity.

"Once upon a time they lived happily ever after. Ha ha ha. Just kidding. Ha ha ha. Ok, that was just funny and weird. I meant just weird. Ha ha ha."

I'm glad she's paying attention to worship!

Saw your later post.

Is making a slip cover anything like reupholstering? I have a loveseat from the early 60's that I would love to have redone. (it's in covered naugahyde vinyl now) Any recommendations?

I woudl say that making a slip cover was way easier than re-upholstering something, although, I have only tried to re-upholster one couch before this little project. It was a huge ordeal, and I did complete it, but not without much effort and not something I'd want company to sit on! But this may have been a bit easier simply because I had that experience under my belt. See what youtube videos you can find about upholstering before you begin...maybe even get a book from the library so you know what you're getting yourself into! Good luck!

Thanks. I thought it may be harder to do. I think I may have to find a professional. I'm always impressed with diyers. I used to sew, but that was AGES ago. I love your blog. It looks like you have a lot of fun.
